Yankton County Man Sentenced to 25 Years for Aggravated Assault Stabbing

YANKTON, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A Yankton County man is heading to prison after being convicted of aggravated assault. According to KELOLand, Timothy Terrell Wilson was sentenced to 25 years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary, with 15 years suspended. The charge stems from a stabbing on April 24, 2025, and Wilson who has a criminal history including seven prior felonies was on parole at the time.
