WEEKEND SPORTS: Tigers busy with four different sports competing + Minnesota Twins & Timberwolves in action

Saturday’s Softball Games:

  • Alcester-Hudson @ Bridgewater-Emery at 4pm
  • Chamberlain @ Hanson at 4pm
  • Chester @ McCook Central/Montrose at 4pm
  • Mount Vernon/Plankinton @ Parker at 4pm

DWU

The Tiger baseball team continue with more afternoon games continuing Alumni Weekend in Mitchell at Drake Field tis Saturday. They will face the Dordt Defenders in a doubleheader to close out the series. The first pitch will be at Noon.

The Tiger track & field teams continue competition in the Sioux City Relays Saturday. DWU will still be in Sioux City, IA and begin the competition for both the men and the women at 8:15am.

The Tiger softball team has doubleheader action on Saturday afternoon. They’ll hit the road to Crete, NE to take on the Doane Tigers at the Doane Ballfield Complex. The first pitch is set for 2pm.

The Tiger men’s and women’s golf team are hosting the DWU Spring Invitational this Sunday. It will be held at Lakeview Golf Course and start time is listed as TBA.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins will remain on the road this weekend taking on the Toronto Blue Jays. Saturday they will play Toronto at 2:07pm on MLBTV and then on Sunday at 12:37pm.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves are at home at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN this weekend. On Saturday they’ll host the New Orleans Pelicans at 7:30pm on NBA League Pass.
