The (RV) Jackrabbit women (5-0) will be playing on Thanksgiving and also be in their very own Cancun Challenge, just as the men were. They will have the challenge of facing the No. 12 North Carolina (5-1) at 10am on Flo College.com. On Friday, they’ll have another game and play against Columbia at 12:30pm. Then on Saturday, they’ll round things out in Cancun when they face Kansas State with tipoff at 10am.
The No. 16 Jackrabbit football team (8-4) will begin play in the 2025 FCS Playoffs on Saturday when they host No. 22 New Hampshire (8-4) at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium with kickoff set for Noon in Brookings, SD.
NFL
Thursday means Thursday Night Football, and it will be on more than just Prime Video this week. TNF, Thanksgiving Edition! A trio of games are on tap for Thanksgiving. It starts with the Green Bay Packers (7-3-1) at the Detroit Lions (7-4) on FOX at Noon. Then you’ll have the Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) at the Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1) at 3:30pm on CBS/Paramount+. Then the day rounds out with the Cincinnati Bengals (3-8) at the Baltimore Ravens (6-5) on NBC/Peacock at 7:20pm.
There’s a Friday post-Thanksgiving game as well. It’s a lone game and the matchup will be the Chicago Bears (8-3) at the Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) on Prime Video. THe game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA and kickoff is at 2pm.
The Minnesota Vikings (4-7) see the field on Sunday. They will be on the road taking on the Seattle Seahawks (8-3) at Lumen Field, in Seattle, WA. Kickoff will be at 3:05pm on FOX.
NBA
The Minnesota Timberwolves will have a back-to-back this weekend and it will be at home in the Target Center. Saturday they’ll host the Boston Celtics at 4pm and it will air on NBATV. Sunday, they’re back at it with a game against the San Antonio Spurs at 6pm on NBA League Pass.
