Utility Improvement Project Closing Part of E. 6th Avenue Starting on Monday

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — A utility improvement project will have parts of East 6th Avenue closed for the foreseeable future

Mitchell city officials say the work is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday between N. Lawler Street and N. Burr Street. No end date has been provided. While the section of 6th Avenue is shut down, drivers are asked to avoid the area by using alternative routes.
