VERMILLION, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Students at the University of South Dakota are rallying behind art professor Michael Hook after his social media post about Charlie Kirk’s death drew backlash from state leaders. The Board of Regents says it plans to fire him, but students argue the move violates his freedom of speech and say he’s had a lasting impact on their education.
