A major concert venue and events center in South Dakota is undergoing a name change. The Swiftel Center in Brookings will now be the Dacotah Bank Center. The name change is the result of a new partnership with Dacotah Bank, based in Aberdeen. The 6,000 seat venue will continue to be owned by the City of Brookings and managed by OVG 360. The facility has been called the Swiftel Center since 2006. It opened as the Brookings Area Multiplex in 2001.
