Stolen Firearm Linked to Sioux Falls Homicide, Court Documents Show

Court documents indicate that a stolen firearm was used in this week’s homicide in Sioux Falls. Authorities report that 18-year-old Kray Bluebird allegedly stole a rifle and a revolver from a pickup truck parked several blocks from the location of the fatal incident.

The victim has been publicly identified by Sioux Falls Police as 43-year-old Bonita Keeble. According to the initial autopsy report, Keeble died from excessive blood loss resulting from a gunshot wound to the pelvic region.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the homicide and the use of the stolen weapons.
