Sports Roundup: Wednesday 11/26/25

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams were both in Sioux City, IA taking on the Briar Cliff Chargers. The No. 19 women’s basketball team slayed the beast and handed No. 9 Briar Cliff their first loss of the year in a 79-70 win. For the men, they had a good game and were leading at the half but were unable to come away with the win. They lost on the road, 90-81.

DWU Wrestling

The (RV) Tiger men’s wrestling team took on some tough groups yesterday in the GPAC Duals. They fell to (RV) Midland, 35-18 and also to No. 8 Doane, 44-9. DWU’s only wins over Midland were all by forfeit, and the lone key win against Doane was a big one in the 184lb weight class as Jaxon Quail took down No. 18 Kolton Kammeyer, 11-5.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team played in the first day of the Cancun Challenge against Utah Valley. It was tough go for the Jackrabbits to begin play in Mexico and they fell to Utah Valley, 75-52. Today they will play UC Irvine (3-3) at 7:30pm. The (RV) Jackrabbit women (5-0) will be playing tomorrow on the Thanksgiving holiday and also be in their very own Cancun Challenge when they take on the No. 12 North Carolina (5-1) at 10am also on Flo College dot com.

NFL

Tomorrow is Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, Thanksgiving Edition! A trio of games are on tap for Thanksgiving. It starts with the Green Bay Packers (7-3-1) at the Detroit Lions (7-4) on FOX at Noon. Then you’ll have the Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) at the Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1) at 3:30pm on CBS/Paramount+. Then the day rounds out with the Cincinnati Bengals (3-8) at the Baltimore Ravens (6-5) on NBC/Peacock at 7:20pm.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves (10-7) will be playing again today when they have NBA Cup – Group Play game action today. They’ll travel to face the Oklahoma City Thunder (17-1). Tipoff will be at 6:30pm on ESPN.
