Sports Roundup: Tuesday 11/25/25

DWU Wrestling

The (RV) Tiger men’s wrestling team will compete this afternoon on the road in Sioux City, IA. Times and opponents have now been updated on the DWU Athletics website and now show the men first facing Midland at 4pm and then Doane (NE) at 5:30pm in the GPAC Duals at the Hindman-Hobbs Center.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams will both be on the road tonight and each in Sioux City, IA. They will play Briar Cliff (IA) at the Newman Flanagan Center. The No. 19 ranked women’s basketball team (4-2) will play at 6pm against No. 9 Chargers WBB (9-0) and then the Tiger men (5-3) will play after against Chargers MBB (5-2) and begin at 7:45pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team (4-2) will be on the hardwood again today. They will be in Cancun, Mexico playing in the Cancun Challenge against Utah Valley (3-2) in the first day of action. The game will tipoff at 5pm and it will air on FloCollege.com but will require payment to view. Tomorrow they will play UC Irvine (3-3) at 7:30pm.

NFL

Monday Night Football went down between the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers last night. It was an ugly night for Brock Purdy as he threw for just 193 yards and three interceptions with only one touchdown pass, but his team still managed to come out on top, 20-9. Christian McCaffrey had 24 carries and 89 yards rushing for one rush touchdown. He also reeled in seven receptions and 53 yards receiving.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves faced the Sacramento Kings last night on the road. The third time was the charm for Sacramento as they took down Minnesota in overtime, 117-112. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 43 points. Minnesota drops to 10-7 overall.
