Mitchell Basketball

The Kernel basketball teams will be in action tonight in Mitchell. They’ll be hosting the Tea Area Titans. Boys/Girls JV will start at 3:30pm with girls in the auxiliary gym and boys in the main. Then it’s the sophomore boys/girls at 4:45pm with girls in the auxiliary gym and boys in the main. Freshman boys will play at 6pm in the auxiliary gym. Then you’ll have your varsity games get going with the girls first at 6pm then the (RV) Kernel boys at 7:30pm.

Mitchell Wrestling

The Kernel wrestling teams are both set to compete tomorrow night on the road. They’ll be in Brandon, SD at Brandon Valley high school in a pair of Varsity Triangular’s. Both the boys and the girls will get started at 5pm.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams are scheduled for a road trip tonight instead of yesterday as it was postponed due to weather. They’ll be over in Sioux City, IA for a doubleheader against the Morningside Mustangs. Games will be played in the Rosen Verdoorn Sports Center with the No. 9 Tiger women playing at 6pm and the men to follow and play at 7:45pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit women’s basketball team took on North Dakota last night on the road. SDSU had a dominant victory over North Dakota, taking them down 99-47. A big help was that second quarter that they won, 27-8. Brooklyn Meyer led the Jackrabbits in scoring with 31 points and added 12 rebounds for a double-double. The Jackrabbit men will be in action tonight. They’ll take on St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN at 7pm and it will air on the Summit League Network.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves return to the court tonight when they host the Chicago Bulls. They’ll play in the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN and tipoff is set for 7pm on NBA League Pass.
