Mitchell Basketball

The (RV) Kernel girls basketball team will play again tonight on the road. They’ll be in Harrisburg taking on the Tigers at Harrisburg high school. Tipoff will be at 7pm.

Mitchell Wrestling

The Kernel girls wrestling team will be competing this afternoon. They’ll be facing McCook Central/Montrose at McCook Central high school in a Varsity Tournament. It will begin at 2pm.

Mitchell Gymnastics

The Kernel gymnastics team will be competing tomorrow afternoon. Mitchell will be in a Girls Varsity Meet here in Mitchell at the MHS main gym. Competition is expected to begin at 11:30am.

Mitchell Hockey

The Mitchell Marlins boys varsity team is hosting a Teddy Bear Toss during their home game against Brandon Valley tonight at 8pm in the Mitchell Activity Center in the Toshiba Rink. Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear (or stuffed animal) to the game. After the first period, all teddy bears will be thrown onto the ice and then donated to CASA of Mitchell to support children in need throughout our community. The girls are also competing over the weekend. They have a Varsity Tournament in Omaha, NE today through Sunday.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams get back to doubleheader action tomorrow. DWU will be in Fremont, NE taking on Midland at the Wikert Event Center. Tipoff for the No. 10 women will be at 2pm and the men will follow and play at 3:45pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team will be playing tomorrow. They will take on North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND at 1pm and it’ll be airing on the Summit League Network/Midco Sports.

NFL

Week 18 begins tomorrow in the NFL. A pair of games are set for tomorrow as the Carolina Panthers are at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL with kickoff at 3:30pm. Then you’ll have the Seattle Seahawks at the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA with kickoff at 7pm. Both games will air on ABC/ESPN.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves get back to action tonight. They will make their way over to Miami, FL to face the Heat at the Kasya Center. Tipoff will be at 4pm on NBATV.
