Social Mixer, Awards Show Thursday night at Pepsi Theatre

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce’s Connect Mitchell Committee is holding a Mix and Mingle event Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The chamber says it is a great opportunity for businesses to showcase what they’re doing, especially during the busy summer months. Fellow chamber members, area residents, and others are encouraged to drop by to network with neighbors.

The event will be at the Pepsi Theatre on Main Street. Admission is free. Several food trucks will be on hand to serve up dinner.

Immediately following the mixer, the Area Community Theatre organization will hold it’s A.C.T. Awards Night ceremony, Mitchell’s version of the Tony Awards. The ceremony officially closes the books on Season 33 for the theatre. There will be a youth production called It Happened on Route 66 in late June. The 2026-27 season kicks off on July 31st with a production of The Wizard of Oz.
