SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Sioux Falls will host the U.S. Olympic Curling Team Trials in November, bringing some of the nation’s top athletes to the ice. At a preview panel, 2018 Olympic Gold Medalist Tyler George called the trials a high-stakes showdown where winning or losing can change an athlete’s life. Panelists also emphasized curling’s precision, strategy, and teamwork. Organizers say the event will shine a spotlight on the local curling club, draw in tourism, and give fans a chance to watch Olympic dreams play out in South Dakota.
