Another Sioux Falls police officer has been arrested and is facing charges of the possession of child pornography.

This morning, the Lincoln County State’s Attorney filed a criminal complaint against former officer, 23-year-old Matthew Jock.

The complaint alleges 5 counts of Possession of Child Pornography against Jock.

Jock was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and is no longer employed by the Sioux Falls Police Department.

The arrest comes less than two weeks after another Sioux Falls Police Department officer, 28-year-old Luke Schauer, was arrested for child pornography. Schauer was taken off active duty when the city learned of the arrest, and is no longer a member of the police department.

It is unclear whether these cases are connected. Jock is facing state charges, while Schauer is facing charges in federal court.
