SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) With a federal shutdown threatening SNAP benefits, Sioux Falls nonprofits are bracing for even greater demand. According to KELOLand, Church on the Street says its food pantry shelves are nearly bare after a recent giveaway, as USDA food supplies shrink. Faith Temple Food Giveaway served over 1,300 people last week and expects hundreds more if benefits stop November 1st.
