MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Drivers in Mitchell should plan for road closures early this week. Foster Street will be shut down from 5th to 7th Avenue today and tomorrow for street improvements, though access to the Avera Queen of Peace main entrance will remain open. The street is expected to reopen Wednesday once paving is complete. On Tuesday, 8th Avenue will also be closed from Foster to Firesteel on a block-by-block basis for asphalt work. Detours will be posted.
