MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Governor Larry Rhoden is signing three bills aimed at promoting South Dakota’s outdoors and improving public spaces.  The measures include funding construction at the Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery, transferring the Hydro II site to the Spearfish Canyon Foundation for preservation and education, and authorizing continued upgrades at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds.  Rhoden says the bills will help protect the state’s natural beauty and expand opportunities for future generations.  He has signed 13 bills into law so far this legislative session.
