MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Concerns are growing over Mount Pleasant Cemetery after a watchdog group revealed it lost its nonprofit status for failing to file tax returns three years in a row. Volunteers recently cleaned up the grounds, but weeds have already returned, and families say poor upkeep is just part of the issue. They also demand answers about missing financial records and whether the cemetery is fulfilling its promises.
