MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW)  Special Olympics South Dakota will host its 2025 State Basketball Tournament in Mitchell next month, featuring over 600 basketball players. The event is scheduled for March 29th and 30th at Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell Middle School, and Mitchell High School. The schedule includes an opening ceremony at the Corn Palace on March 29th at 8:30 AM, and closes on March 30 with an awards ceremony. Volunteer referees and scorekeepers are needed.
