Mitchell, SD — The Mitchell Technical College Foundation invites alumni, community members, and local businesses to participate in the upcoming Alumni Gathering and Cornhole Tournament on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the World’s Only Corn Palace.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:00 p.m., followed by the tournament at 6:30 p.m. Participants may register a two-person team for either a competitive or recreational bracket. All proceeds from the event will support the Mitchell Tech Foundation Alumni Legacy Scholarship, helping provide financial assistance to students pursuing technical careers.
“This event brings our alumni and community together while directly supporting student success,” said Heather Kulm, Director of Foundation Relations. “It’s a fun and meaningful way to give back to Mitchell Tech students.”
Tournament registration is $60 for competitive teams and $40 for recreational teams. Pre-registration is required by April 10.
In addition to the tournament, attendees can enjoy food, a silent auction, other raffle and game options, and networking opportunities with Mitchell Tech alumni, industry partners, and supporters.
