MLB

It didn’t look like it after Friday’s fantastic result, but the Twins have officially lost a little momentum coming out of the All-Star Break. Minnesota dropped games on Saturday and Sunday, snapping a five-series win streak. Sunday was never particularly close. The Twins fell behind in the first and the game was blown open by the third en route to a 10-1 defeat. Starter Zebby Matthews took the loss for Minnesota. Up next, it is a division series versus the Cleveland Guardians. Game one first pitch is Monday at 5:40 p.m. Joe Ryan versus Tanner Bibee is the pitching matchup.

WNBA

The Lynx are on the road in Seattle Monday night. Tip-off is late, scheduled for 9 p.m. Minnesota is 20-6 on the season while Seattle is 6-21. The Storm have been more competitive in recent weeks, though.
