The Minnesota Twins finally got out of their slump and got the bats rolling in their 10-6 win over Cleveland last night. They had 11 hits in the game and scored seven of their 10 runs in the first four innings. Along with three favorable errors by the Guardians, Brooks Lee hit s three-run homer and Trevor Larnach’s solo homer + his three RBIs helped the Twins get the win. Minnesota is now 50-53 overall and play again this afternoon at 12:10pm on ESPN Unlimited/MLBTV to close out the series.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx had their superstar return to the lineup yesterday against the Seattle Storm. Seeming to be on no minutes restriction, Napheesa Collier picked up right where she left off to end last season. Collier posted 24 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double in her first game of the season in the 86-76 win over Seattle. Minnesota heads into the WNBA All-Star break with a 22-6 overall record and won’t return to the court until July 28.
