The Minnesota Twins get themselves a series win after victory last night over the Colorado Rockies. The series was tied 1-1, and the deciding game ended up a 3-2 win from the Twins. Connor Prielipp struck out a career-high 10 in six innings and Ryan Kreidler hit a go-ahead home run in the seventh to help propel them to victory. Minnesota is now 40-45 overall. They’ll start a new series in Houston, TX tonight against the Astros with first pitch at 7:10pm on MLBTV.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx had a tough road test last night against the Dallas Wings. It was a gritty game between the two teams, and Minnesota came out on top, 85-77. Natasha Howard had 21 points and 14 rebounds; Olivia Miles added 21 points as well as eight assists in their ninth road win in 10 games this season. Additionally, Cheryl Reeve tied the WNBA record for career coaching wins (379) in the victory in Arlington, TX.
