MLB

The Minnesota Twins took on the Kansas City Royals last night to begin a new series. Momentum continues to be on the side of Minnesota as they closed out a 3-2 win against Kansas City with a clutch two-run bottom of the ninth inning. It was a walk-off two-run triple from Royce Lewis that sealed the win. These teams are set to play again tonight for Game 2 at 6:40pm on MLBTV. 

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx hosted the Toronto Tempo last night at the Target Center. Chalk up another win for the Lynx last night as they got past the Tempo, 100-93. Olivia Miles led the way for Minnesota with 24 points and eight assists. They’re now riding an eight-game winning streak and are 23-6 overall. Tomorrow the Tempo will get their rematch when  Minnesota heads on over to Toronto for a 7pm tipoff on Prime Video.
