MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The City of Mitchell is closing down North Ohlman Street between Kemper Avenue and Sharpstone Drive on Monday.

The work is part of a continuing project this summer making utility improvements in the area. The closure will begin at 7 a.m. with access to the Country Estates Apartment maintained near the Kemper Avenue intersection.

Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route. Indian Village Road is a good substitute for the Lake Mitchell boat launch, Lakeview Municipal Golf Course, and the Mitchell Indigenous Archaeological Site and Museum.
