MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) A Mitchell criminal case involving Courtney Stork is moving forward after several delays, with the defendant choosing to represent himself in court. Stork, 46, of Mitchell, faces several charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of two ounces or less of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of zolpidem and driving with a revoked license. A judge has denied Stork’s requests to suppress evidence from two 2025 searches, ruling the searches were lawful. The case has been postponed multiple times due to attorney changes, with a new motions hearing set for mid-February.
