The Mitchell City Council meets at 6 PM at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. The council will consider approving the purchase of a drone. The Mitchell Police Department, Emergency Management Services, Parks and Recreation and the Public Works Department are among the departments that would use the drone, which would cost just over $8,000 and would be funded by city contingency funds. Tonight’s Mitchell City Council meeting is open to the public. It is also streamed online and televised locally.
