Mitchell Chamber Hosting District 20 Legislator “Cracker Barrel” Feb. 27 at DWU

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce will host a “Cracker Barrel” forum with District 20 legislators from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.

The event is scheduled for the Pratt Board Room at Dakota Wesleyan University’s School of Business, Innovation, and Leadership, 1200 W. University Ave. in Mitchell.

Organized by the Mitchell Government Affairs Committee, the forum is intended to give community members a chance to hear directly from District 20 legislators during the legislative session.

Attendees will be able to submit questions in writing. A moderator will read the questions aloud as part of the discussion.
