Former State Representative Paul Miskimins of Mitchell has announced that he will run for the South Dakota Senate in 2024.  Miskimins served in the legislature from 2019 through 2022.  He did not run for reelection citing health issues in his family.  Miskimins will run for the District 20 seat currently held by Joshua Klumb, who is termed out in the Senate.
