Lake Andes Woman Sentenced for Dollar General Break-In, Theft and Property Damage

LAKE ANDES, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A 26-year-old Lake Andes woman has been sentenced after admitting to breaking into the local Dollar General and causing thousands of dollars in damage while stealing cigarettes and beer last March. According to the Daily Republic, Magdalene Silk pleaded guilty to felony property damage and was given six years in prison with all time suspended, five years of probation, and 180 days in jail, with credit for 96 days served.
