Governor Noem to host townhall in Mitchell

PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW)  On Wednesday, Governor Kristi Noem will host a townhall in Mitchell.

Governor Noem will also sign SB 127, which establishes a minimum teacher salary and revises the requirements pertaining to average teacher compensation, and HB 1022, which makes an appropriation so that DOE can continue to provide this professional development in literacy to teachers, into law.

The bill signing ceremony will take place at the Mitchell High School Library at 11:00am CT. The townhall will begin at 11:15am CT. Guests can enter through the Mitchell High School main entrance.
