MITCHELL – Working registered nurses (RN) will have another option for attaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.  Dakota Wesleyan University is launching a fully online program to accommodate working nurses who are looking to expand their skills and find more career opportunities.

The accelerated program will allow students to apply RN experiences they already have.  Coursework is offered in 7-week modules and is delivered 100% online with no required login times.  A student who enrolls full-time can complete the program in one year; those taking a part-time load can finish in 24 months.

According to DWU Director Nursing Dr. Penny Tilton, “DWU’s RN to B.S.N. program is designed for working nurses who want to advance professionally without stepping away from their jobs, families or community. Our experienced faculty will help students attain their goals with confidence.”

Applications for prospective students are still being accepted for Fall 2026.  For more information about the program or to apply, visit https:// https://www.dwu.edu/bsn.
