MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) – The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Theatre at Dakota Wesleyan University will stage a theatre cabaret event as a fundraiser for the theatre department. Performances of popular Broadway musical numbers will be interspersed with short scenes from recent DWU productions.

The one-hour performance will be staged twice on Friday, Feb. 6, at 401 Create by LifeQuest, 401 N. Main St.  Performance times are 7 and 8 p.m.

Admission is $10.00 at the door or tickets may be purchased online at https://givebutter.com/oaKse1.

The fundraiser supports the DWU Theatre Department and helps cover student travel costs to attend the American College Theater Festival (ACTF) in Rochester, Minn. ACTF offers students hands-on learning through performances, workshops and networking with college theatre programs from across the region. Proceeds from this event will directly support students and help make this impactful educational experience possible.
