Davison County Commission Awards Gravel Bid, Approves Hires and Bandstand Project

MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Davison County Commission approved a gravel contract, a low bid on fuel, and funding for a bandstand repair project at last week’s meeting. Commissioners also signed off on two new full-time hires, set a hearing for a temporary liquor license in early September, and continued work on the 2026 budget. The meeting was wrapped up after an executive session, with the next session scheduled for 9am today.
