MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) Dakota Wesleyan University has announced a strategic alliance with MMTH, becoming the latest institution to join the MMTH 360 program. MMTH, pronounced “Mammoth,” and headquartered in Meriden, Kan., is a facility planning and design, construction, consulting and branding group that assists collegiate athletic departments with a variety of services. DWU is joining the elite ranks of other MMTH 360 schools, including the University of Kansas and Pittsburg State University. Within this preferred relationship, the Tigers will benefit from the same level of operational support as other larger universities. Working together, MMTH and DWU will jointly develop a sports masterplan, allowing DWU to take informed steps toward securing resources, strengthening partnerships and expanding facilities. “Dakota Wesleyan University has a great deal of momentum in the classroom and in competition,” said Ross Cimpl, Director of Athletics. “We are proud to enter this partnership with MMTH.  Their expertise will help establish a new standard for Dakota Wesleyan Athletics, and we cannot wait to get started.  We look forward to elevating every aspect of our athletic program.” “Ross and his team have a vision,” said Troy Giegling, MMTH Vice President of Regional Sales. “Their goal is to completely transform their athletics program, from facilities and fields to the student-athlete experience. With their vision and MMTH’s full spectrum of capabilities, we can turn their ambitions into reality.” DWU President Dan Kittle is eager to work with MMTH. “At DWU, we are committed to developing champions in the classroom, in character and in competition. This alliance will strengthen our ability to provide an exceptional student-athlete experience while positioning Tiger Athletics for success well into the future.” DWU and MMTH are already working together on several initiatives and will have more news in the future as plans coalesce.
