CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Chamberlain is getting ready to welcome more dinosaurs. The South Dakota Dinosaur Park near I-90 is raising funds to add three new life-size sculptures, a T-Rex, Ankylosaurus, and Stegosaurus. The first two are already covered, with about $10,000 still needed for the Stegosaurus. Organizers say the project is designed to bring more families off the interstate, give kids a fun stop, and boost local businesses. The Mitchell Republic reports that the new dinosaurs could arrive by spring 2026, with future plans including educational tours, interactive signs, and even a gift shop.
