Bridge Dedication to Honor Fallen Marine

CROW CREEK, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota will soon dedicate another bridge in honor of a fallen veteran. U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Dirk R. Abbas, who was killed in action during the Korean War in October 1952, will be remembered with the naming of the Highway 27 bridge over Crow Creek, just south of Britton. The Department of Veterans Affairs will hold a dedication ceremony on Friday, October 3rd, at 2 p.m. at the Britton Area Event Center. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
