MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Rocker and TV personality Bret Michaels lit up the Corn Palace Festival Saturday night, closing his show by hinting he’ll be back with a famous friend next year. The festival’s three-night concert series drew nearly 4,000 fans, with the Bret Michaels show selling the most tickets. Country artist Justin Moore and Christian artist Micah Tyler rounded out the lineup. Organizers say the concerts nearly matched last year’s ticket sales, and the community spirit was as strong as ever. This was also the final festival with the current arena seating, which will be replaced this week.
