Breaking News…Sleep is Good for You

MITCHELL S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Twenty six years, that’s how long the typical American spends sleeping in an average lifetime.  Sleep research shows that a good night’s rest improves memory, among other things.

Sleep is important to learning new information, regulating emotions and maintaining mental health. A 2021 meta-analysis of 65 clinical trials found that improving sleep reduces symptoms of depression, anxiety, rumination and stress.

Doctors and researchers say that the old aphorism “Sleep on it” is good clinical advice, on so many levels.
