Avera Queen of Peace Begins Meal Delivery Service in Mitchell

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — When Meals on Wheels approached Avera Queen of Peace about continuing its meal program in Mitchell, Avera Queen of Peace established Mitchell Meal Delivery to provide nutritious meals to individuals who are unable to prepare their own meals because of age, illness, surgery or disability.

Each meal is planned and prepared by the professional staff at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, taking into consideration the client’s nutritional needs and diet restrictions. The meal includes an entrée item, vegetable and/or potato and/or fruit, salad, or dessert. Beverages are not included. Meals are $6.00 each.

For further information or to arrange for meal delivery, please contact Avera at 605-995-5696. Individuals who are registered with Meals on Wheels are automatically included in Mitchell Meal Delivery.
