Class AA:

Today’s Boys State Tournament Games

Class AA:

  • No. 3 seed Huron vs No. 2 seed Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 6:45pm MT/7:45pm CT (Semifinals)

Class B:

  • No. 7 seed Sully Buttes vs No. 3 seed De Smet at 12:45pm (Consolation Semifinals)
  • No. 6 seed Wall vs No. 2 seed Freeman at 6:45pm (Semifinals)

DWU Baseball

The Tiger baseball team had a Great Plains Athletic Conference doubleheader at home yesterday afternoon against Midland. They split the day against the Warriors 1-1. The Tigers had the bats going in the first game and posted 15 hits in their 11-6 victory. Talan Ball went 3-for-3 at the plate, scored a pair of runs and hit four RBIs. Though in game two, it was the errors that plagued the Tigers. They managed nine hits in the second game but had four errors in the 8-4 loss. DWU is set to play again today, but on the road in Hastings, NE. They take on the Hastings Broncos on Duncan Field for a doubleheader with first pitch at 2pm.

DWU Basketball

The No. 9 Tiger basketball team gets started in the Round of 16 in Sioux City, IA today. The No. 2 seed Tigers will face No. 3 seed Lindsey Wilson at the Tyson Events Center with tipoff at 1pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit women’s basketball team begins NCAA Tournament action today. They will play in the opening round this afternoon as SDSU is the No. 11 seed and are set to face No. 6 seed Washington in Fort Worth, TX at Schollmaier Arena at 1:30pm and the game will air on ESPN News.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves get back to the hardwood tonight and will be at home in Minneapolis, MN. They’ll host the Portland Trail Blazers at the Target Center with tipoff at 7pm on NBA League Pass.
