Active COVID-19 Cases In South Dakota Drop Again Saturday

Active COVID-19 cases in South Dakota went down Saturday by 52 in the latest report and now stands at 2,413. The South Dakota Department of Health reported 238 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday, but no new fatalities from the virus as the state’s total case number reached 119,705. The death toll in the state from the virus is at 1,946 overall since the pandemic began. Meanwhile, 102 people are currently in the hospital due to COVID-19 and Davison County’s active case count is now at 64.
