Aberdeen Woman Facing Arraignment Over Threat to Gubernatorial Candidate

ABERDEEN, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A 69-year-old Aberdeen woman accused of threatening Republican gubernatorial candidate Toby Doeden is set to be arraigned this week. Prosecutors say Shauna King confronted Doeden at a Northern State University football game, telling him, “We got Kirk, you’re next.” She faces misdemeanor charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct, which could bring jail time and fines.
