Today is the last day to cast an absentee ballot for tomorrow’s election. Davison County Auditor Sue Kiepke says requests for absentee ballots were higher than normal. There were around 2,700 absentee ballot requests, with around 1,700 of them having been returned as of Friday afternoon. Kiepke says that is a high amount for a primary election.
Absentee voting and turning in of absentee ballots can be done today from 8 AM until 5 PM. Kiepke says here in Davison County, they would prefer that appointments be made, but no one will be turned away. For more information, contact your county auditor.
