Remodeling plans for a Mitchell hotel’s indoor swimming pool have been put on hold after the Planning and Zoning Commission tabled its permit request yesterday. The Ramada Inn is nine months behind on its BID tax payments and water bill payments.

The pool remodel was necessary after the hotel drained the pool for routine maintenance last spring, and the ground underneath the pool caved upward over six feet.
