Mitchell Firefighters Respond To Restaurant Fire Wednesday

Mitchell firefighters responded to a fire at a local restaurant yesterday. The fire at New China Buffet started just after 2 PM. Fire crews arrived to find that the individuals inside the restaurant had utilized a fire extinguisher to put out a small fire on a gas burner. Further investigation revealed no further fire spread. No structural damage occurred and no appliances were destroyed. No injuries were reported.
