The Mitchell City Council meets this evening at 6 PM at City Hall in downtown Mitchell.

Tonight’s agenda includes action to approve a contract with L.L. Jirsa Architect for the design of a roof replacement at the public safety building on West 1st Avenue. The roof has had numerous leaks and repairs and has reached its lifespan. Estimated total cost for replacement is $250,000.

Also on the agenda is action to table a decision on one-way streets in Mitchell until the April 6th city council meeting due to the current winter road conditions not allowing for streets to be repainted until spring.

Tonight’s Mitchell City Council meeting is open to the public, is televised locally, and is streamed online. The complete agenda can be found at the city’s website, http://www.cityofmitchell.org.
