Jets To Fly Over Mitchell On Saturday To Honor Health Care Workers

F-16 fighter jets will fly over Mitchell tomorrow to honor local health care workers who have been working during the COVID-19 pandemic. The F-16 fighting falcons will fly over the city at 2:20 tomorrow afternoon. The jets are part of the National Guard’s 114th Fighter Wing, stationed out of Sioux Falls. The S.D. Air National Guard is recommending those who view the flight to maintain social distancing. Mitchell is one of nine communities in eastern South Dakota which will receive a flyover.
