Gov. Kristi Noem has made two more appointments to the Legislature. She tapped Rep. Kyle Schoenfish, R-Scotland, for a Senate seat and named Marty Overweg of New Holland to fill Schoenfish’s seat in the House. Schoenfish fills the Senate vacancy left by Stace Nelson’s resignation. The 2020 legislative session starts next week.
