Mitchell High School’s Friend De Coup swept the finals awards ceremony in Davenport, Iowa over the weekend at the Great River Show Choir Invitational, winning Best Choreography, Best Vocals and Grand Champions.
Ten schools from Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and South Dakota competed in the 4A division with FDC including Wheaton Warrenville South who finished as 1st Runner Up. Other finalists in order of placement were Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Fort Atkinson, and Iowa City West.
The show choir will travel to Sioux City, Iowa for its next competition on March 7th.
